It is a universal principle that the more people you serve the wealthier you become. Take Jeff Bezos for example. He originally started selling books online, but now sells almost anything you would want to buy at a store and delivers it for free within 2 days if you have a membership. The membership also allows you to watch movies and listen to music for free. Think about how many people he has served and because of that he is the richest man in the world. People will complain all day about how it is not fair that he is so wealthy but what is the alternative—Bezos is broke, and amazon does not exist. Thousands of people out of jobs.
Outflow Equals Inflow
If you do not message anyone, how many messages will you receive? If you message 100 people how many messages will you receive? You will likely receive replies from some of those messages. The more you put out the more you will get in. Whatever you want in your life you can get if you give it out first.
This applies with production. If you are a top producer then you will receive top pay or high awards. If you do nothing, then do not expect someone to come by and tell you how great you are, or offer you a promotion, or a reward. This is a big problem today. Schools seemingly teach people to be rewarded for doing nothing and that carries with them. Later they find themselves empty-handed with respect to finances and self-esteem.
Serve Others
Think of a quality service that comes to mind. Chik-fil-A is a fast food chain that serves chicken sandwiches and customers often rave about the service there. The quality service keeps people coming back and Chik-fil-A gets more business. The more you give the more you get.
People will also pay for service at a good restaurant. They could probably make a meal at home that tastes similar and costs way less, but they are willing to pay extra for the service and experience the restaurant provides. If the restaurant has bad service, they probably will not return.
If you serve a client well, they are likely to rave to their friends and family about how great you were in helping them. Word-of-mouth marketing is a powerful way to gain business. The harder you work for a client, the more rewarding it will be for you in addition to them. The real estate agency I used to buy my first house was a word-of-mouth referral. The way to give more is to solve problems. What do most people struggle with? If you can figure out a problem that a large group of people have and provide a solution, they will be willing to pay for that solution. The more people you serve, the wealthier you become. Steve Jobs is another example of this line of thinking. He offered a solution to a problem that people didn’t know they had. He provided data and information at people’s fingertips. He was well compensated for his efforts.
Elon Musk solved a big problem within the United States by providing commercial space flight. He has gotten extremely wealthy based off his problem-solving ability. He is able to provide supplies to the International Space Station and recently he launched astronauts with NASA. He will get more than money because his mission is to go to Mars. He will get more resources for his mission based off what he has given and the problems he has solved.

Emotional intelligence will a valuable skill moving forward in business. There are a lot of people hurting right now so being understanding of someone’s situation can help you be more empathetic. Maybe the person that is angry all the time at work is not mad at you but something they are dealing with personally. Knowing how to navigate the situation and having awareness ultimately gains you trust and respect of the people around you.
Being generous with charitable giving and volunteering also comes back in multitudes. Giving back to communities and working within them is ultimately what makes a place better. The more people donating to charities, volunteering, and mentoring kids in a community, the better the community will be. Your generosity in return gives you a better place to live.

The best way to receive is to give. Figure out a problem to solve or a service to provide. The bigger the problem and the better the service, the wealthier you will become. You will be wealthier beyond just monetary compensation—you will feel good about yourself and be fulfilled. This is not taught in school and highly overlooked.
